Your Daily Recruiting Journal, Introduction

I thought to name this discussion like so: “To Journal…or NOT to Journal; that is the question.” I still like that name much better than the somewhat boring, more prosaic, “Your Daily Recruiting Journal.” But, for me, the honest truth is that there is no question. At least, not from my own perspective. Here’s what I mean.

If you don’t keep a journal, a journal of your daily recruiting efforts and outcomes, you’re doing a great deal more damage than you can possibly realize. I’ll state it positively. If you will simply start, today, to keep your own daily recruiting journal and then, simply learn to grow its reach and power gently, day by day, week by week, month, quarter and year by month, quarter and year, your path to wealth and power as a recruiter is virtually assured.

Nope. You do NOT need to hire me. Not that I might not help you build extraordinary profit and return on your investment! But, there really can be no question. More important even than numbers – and I claim to be the ultimate numbers man – your daily journal will save you from a world of sin. It will empower you to reclaim or claim for the first time your true recruiting dream. More, it will empower you to lead yourself to the complete dream you hold deep within your soul for your entire life. If heaven is a place on earth – and I believe it is – then your daily recruiting journal can actually be your stairway there.

In the days and weeks to come, I’ll begin by telling you my own story of journaling, and what it means to me. Each day, however, I will end up with a direct challenge or thought for your immediate application. You’ll see precisely that in our first posting below.

Last point for now. Don’t worry about format. Or, worry about it, just so long as you take 100% power over the format. So, if you have a way of collecting and organizing napkins, then use that for your journal. Any spiral binder from graph paper to large ruled lines, or any other piece of paper, including e-paper here online if you like computers, any format will do.
